The power supply in question is specifically designed for Dedicated Micros DVRs and can be ordered security of several high-end video - I've seen 'em for about $ 100 - $ 200
His "DVR" is a very expensive 16-channel model for the recording of 16 channels of the security camera feed used simultaneously. I'm curious to see what his plans for him and / or where he is. Because if you intend to use as a residential DVR to record your cable box to have American Idol, then I am afraid it is not what is intended.
